Please read the information below for your monthly Goshen update!
Adult Registrations
Remember to register your adults for camp – even your two free ones. We want to make sure we have an accurate head count as we start preparing for your week of camp!
If you are splitting two adult leaders during your week at camp, please write the first leader’s name in the “first name” box, and the second leader’s name in the “last name” box.
Goshen Bus Tickets – Bus Transportation from Fairfax and Largo
Tickets for the Goshen Bus go on sale starting May 1. Check out our latest post with some quick facts and information on how to purchase bus tickets: www.gotogoshen.org/general/how-to-purchasing-bus-tickets/ . BSA Medical Forms
As we get close to camp, make sure you and your campers are preparing the forms you will need. Everyone in camp must have Parts A & B of the BSA Medical Form. Any youth or adult camper staying for more than 72 hours and/or participating in camp activities must also have Part C and the NCAC Health Advisory. Part C is valid through the end of the 12th month from the date it was administered by your medical provider. Dietary Restrictions
As you are registering your scouts for camp, please indicate their dietary restrictions in their registration! This will help our food service staff anticipate ordering needs for each week at Goshen.
Camperships – Still Available!
If you have scouts that are still thinking about signing up for camp and are in need of financial assistance, we do still have camperships available. Please encourage them to submit applications here: www.gotogoshen.org/camperships
Lenhok’sin High Adventure – Pre-Camp Survey Due May 6th
For crews attending Lenhok’sin High Adventure, whether on the River Trek or the Trail Trek, be sure to complete your Pre-Camp Survey by May 6th. The online survey can be found in the Lenhok’sin Downloads section: www.gotogoshen.org/lenhoksin/#downloads
Adult Leader Training Schedule
The Goshen Scout Reservation is waiting on the finalized training schedule from the NCAC Training Committee! As soon as this is confirmed, we will send out the official adult leader training schedule to all registration contacts, including sign up information.
