We hope you had a great week of Homecamping and that your Scouts learned a lot! This post will go over how to access your records so that you can take them back to your Troop or Pack.

When will records be available?

All records will be finalized by the Wednesday after your week of Homecamping.

Where can I find the records?

There are three types of records you may be looking for:

  • Blue Cards and Merit Badge records
  • New Scout rank advancement requirement lists
  • Webelos Adventure requirement lists

Blue Cards and Merit Badge Records

Blue Cards, Scoutbook exports, and other Merit Badge related reports can be found in your Homecamping Registration under Reports.

Our staff are trained Merit Badge Counselors. Blue Cards are signed digitally, if completed. Due to system requirements, partial badges with many requirements may not all fit on the digital blue cards, so we would recommend using one of the other available reports.

Get a walkthrough to the reports in our previous post here.

Rank Advancement Lists

Rank advancement requirements need to be signed off by the unit leader or someone approved by the unit leader. Staff running the advancement sessions will not be signing off on the rank advancement. The sessions will teach skills and cover topics related to the listed advancement requirements. Scouts can then demonstrate their new skills and knowledge to their Troop leaders, who can sign off on the rank advancement requirements.

You will be able to find a list of the requirements covered each day in the Advancement Basecamp as well as in the Scouts BSA Homecamping webpage Downloads section by the Wednesday following your week of Homecamping, if not sooner.

Webelos Adventure Lists

Webelos Adventure requirements need to be signed off by the unit leader or someone approved by the unit leader. Staff running the Adventure activities will not be signing off on the rank advancement. The activities will teach skills and cover topics related to the listed Adventure requirements. Scouts can then demonstrate their new skills and knowledge to their Den Leader or approved designee, who can sign off on the rank advancement requirements.

You will be able to find a list of the requirements covered each day in your Week’s Basecamp as well as in the Webelos Homecamping webpage Downloads section.
