Make Goshen Shine
This weekend is open to members of the scouting community – youth and adults. Units and volunteers are invited to assist in camp beautification!
Past Volunteer Service Weekend Projects have included sign routing and painting, picnic table building, boat repair, building painting, cabin construction, and more! Projects are available for all skill levels.

Technical Service Weekend
Who:
Scouters, Camp Staff Alumni, and volunteers over the age of 21. Participants should have previous skill in carpentry and/or roofing.
When:
March 20 – 22, 2026
Check-in Begins at 5pm Friday
Where:
Goshen Scout Reservation
340 Millard Burke Memorial Hwy
Goshen, VA 24439
Amenities:
Participants should bring their own tents or plan to bunk at Gray’s Lodge (limited capacity). Camping will be available at Camp Post.
Meals will be served at Gray’s Lodge (Camp Post) at 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 6:00 pm.
How Much:
Free!
Other Info:
Participants need to bring a copy of their Scouting America Medical Form (Parts A & B).
We would appreciate it if everyone who comes to this event is vaccinated.
Project List:
- Roofing repair to latrine structures
- Construction of a centralized boat storage area

Spring Service Weekend

Who:
Scouting youth and adults
Youth attending need to have Youth Protection compliant supervision – either with a parent/guardian or with a contingent from their unit
When:
May 8 – 10, 2026
Check-in Begins at 5pm Friday
Where:
Goshen Scout Reservation

Amenities:
Participants should bring their own tents. Campsites will be available in Camp Olmsted.
Meals will be served at Forster Hall (Olmsted Dining Hall) at 8:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 6:00 pm.
